Easter Tour 2005

I love to decorate! :) Fortunately, Tim does too. So we have a cosy time decorating our house every holiday. At Easter we only decorate our living room/dining room, not like Christmas where we sprinkle Christmas stuff all over the house. See how our house looks like during Easter time by taking this tour:

The few flowers in my garden at Easter - beautiful snowdrops. I also have lots of eranthis, they glow in my garden.
Another sort of snowdrops, not that common in Denmark.
And lovely dark purple crocus.
Let's start at the main entrance - Tiny daffodils in a blue pot and an ugly duck figurine.
I have not made the egg wreath myself, although I have made lots of wreathes for my door.
Inside we start in the bay: On my wicker table I have two fluffy lambs, a vintage ceramic egg and two small trains - one with a rabbit engine driver and one with a chicken engine driver.
In each bay window I have eggs like this. Homemade but not by me - I don't have the patience.
Small yellow chickens everywhere. :)
I always have sprigs in a vase which I decorate with lots of Easter things: real eggs, pearl eggs, small paper birds my mother has cut and vintage plastic eggs from my childhood.
A glass egg with a real feather in.
A bowl w§ith alabaster eggs my grandparents have brought home from their holidays in Spain. I have also had them since my childhood.
My small collection of Fabergé eggs from Sv. Michelsen Chocolate.
Two rabbits on our sofa.
Artificial flowers and a lamb on the TV.
Normally, I hate artificial flowers, but these were so wellmade I had to buy them. They even have fake water in the vases.
We have paper cuttings everywhere. These are made by Tim, the two first ones (very detailed!) when he was 9 years old and the third when he was in kindergarten about 2½ years old. I love them all. :)
More paper cuttings.
The first made by my mother and the two others made by my mother in law.
Babuscha rabbits on the record player.
An Easter decoration with eggs and a feathered fake bird I place on our dining room table each year.
Of course I have Easter napkins in my napkin holder - this year with lots of yellow eggs.
Who laid the golden egg?
Symantec did! Or at least one of their employees came at my job and gave me one.
Vintage eggs with rocking chickens.
Chickens everywhere.
The tallest is made by my mother in law when she was working in a youth center. I have several like this with different coloured tail feathers.
